Greg sorry to hear about the cc fraud! I hunt the creeps down that mug our company, and I take great pleasure when we prosecute them. Hang in there...
I seem to recall a few different color schemes, but Greg never tipped his hat on his final decision. I knew he liked orange a lot, but Alain beat him to the punch on that... I sense a blue combo of some type. Yes?

Greg, I don't quite follow you as I recall that you had already relocated the oil filter... At least I seem to remember such a photo. Either way, hope it works-out. Share a photo or two, especially if it works .

Some lousy cell phone shots....

Randy, thanks for the heads up. I think I'll continue with the wrap and see how it goes. Not enough time now to get it sent out to be coated.
Yea, Randy I remember talking with you about that color scheme a few years back. Since then it seams that many have adopted it. Still not so sure what the final color will be.

Thanks for those, and the camera ones as well. So cool seeing it all come together!
Greg, in your estimation, would it be possible to install such an oil adaptor plate on an engine that has not been removed? I would love to have the oil filter in a different (easier to reach) location and be something that I can pick at the local auto parts store. The option add a little more volume, and a larger filter is appealing also...
Thanks Greg.

Tony,
It's been so long since I've worked on a stock Mini that it's very hard to remember what used to be in the way.
If one can reach the three bolts that secure that whole housing then it's an easy job I would think.
Let's see if this thing really works though. I'm pretty sure it will, but ya know ... :impatient

I hear ya, and agree. If it works, I'll want to talk some business with you . I'd be curious to know what you oil capacity has become. I would venture to guess that you will be around 6 quarts....
I seem to recall, I think it was jlm, who said that it was pain (or impossible) to remove the oil filter housing with the engine in place...
I'll take a gander over the weekend... Thanks Greg

Got a larger photo? I'll be honest, I'm not totally certain what I'm looking at. The black part does seem to look farmiliar though...
From the previous photos, I see that you will be running with the H-Sport from sway bar, and that you are marking bolt heads, which I think is smart. And you are being liberal with the heat shielding of wires and components, which is great. Good stuff Greg.
Ok, so what's is this:

Yea Tony, that's my old H-sport front bar. It's really an unknown right now about sway bars.I could go from a heavy bar like this to no front bar at all. I have three rear bars that we will test out.
Being that this car is now so different from a stock Mini, it's all just guess work right now.
Hint Tony, the part in question is connected to something seen in the pictures a few threads above.

How did you seal the plastic to the aluminum?
I have some filters for you, I just need to find the time to get up there.

That's it! I had never seen an AGS up close, but you've got, as Randy said, the shortest SC runner! That is really neat Greg. Yes, the plastic should act as a nice insulator. With that sandwiched in-between, I don't think ceramic coating it will make that much of a difference...
I'd be curious to see what additional plumbing you have in-mind also, forward the TB... Kudos to you Greg!
