My new chicky babe is in Kansas, did not have plans tonight, everyone else is already out, so that means I'm bored and I decided to use up yet more bandwith. Ihave this as a huge file, so if anyone wants it for their desktop, you are welcome to email me and I can send you the entire file.

 

gotta love the long exposure shots. Nice use of an evening, my fiance lives across the country (don't ask, there was 3 yrs of normal, dating) so lets just say I have plenty of those moments. Mind if I ask how long the exposure was? Keep up the good work

That one was 10 seconds...and this one is 8 seconds...thanks for the compliments...I have about 15 shots from tonight, these were the 2 favorites. I hear ya about the significant other being far away...but believe it or not...that is really making the heart grow fonder. I don't get to see her for another 4 month unless schedules change and I can work in a road trip or flight out there to visit.

Same here. while I'm at it a good digi SLR as well.

4 months is brutal. My girl and I have been doing the long distance thing for about 3 years and 6-8 wks is when things start to get tense for us. I try to see her about every 3-4 wks but tickets from santa barbara, to baltimore are expensive as hell! But you are right, it does make you appreciate her that much more.
