Azenis wear getting to Solo II events?
How much wear and tear am I going to put on a set of Falken Azenis RT-615’s driving about 90 miles of interstate roundtrip from where we live to autocross events?
My wife & I will be trying to do autocross on a budget, hence the street tires and wondering about using up the tires. I’m weighing the driving wear against the cost of taking a second vehicle since I have a child and co-driver to get to the events too, and it seems like 2 passengers, tires & jack probably will not all fit in the Mini.

I wouldn't worry a bit about the tire wear if you are just using them to get to and from the events. As a matter of fact, you will probably put more wear on the outer edges of the tires due to lack of camber during competition than you will to the rest of the tire driving to and from the event. For what it is worth, you could probably leave the tires on for the whole season without too much trouble (depending on other miles driven on car....) since the limiting factor will most likely be the outer edge of the tire.

You can definitely get 4 tires, tools, jack and helmets and two people in a MINI. You have to be conscious of size of things, but it can be done pretty easily. Tires upright in the back seat, tools and helmets in the boot.
I don't have any experience with rt-615's but I got 16,000 miles and 7 or 8 autocrosses out of a set of RT-215's

Just put the Azenis on the car and drive to the events.
For the last couple of years I've used Azenis for about 10 months of the year. I average about 30 autocrosses a year, and have a daily round trip commute to work of 90 miles. I go through 2 sets a year, and all of those miles are run at autocross alignment settings (-2.3deg camber up front, -1.7 in the rear, zero toe).
