Stagg Shocks & Struts w/ Lowering Springs?

I've read the review on the Stagg shocks & struts so I've been interested in getting a set. My Mini doesn't and probably won't see the track so I'm not looking at a high end suspension set up.

I do however want to want lowering springs so I'm looking at some input in terms of what spring to run. I believe I'm going to run the TSW/WMW springs, but I just saw Tein has springs now as well. Anyone with experience in either? I thought about Vogtland but I'm not sure I want that much of a drop.

Thanks in advance for any feedback/advice.

I actually believe I'm going to wait until closer to Black Friday hoping Out Motoring runs a better forum sale. The usual 5% is nice but I plan to buy the Bilstein kit with Eibach springs now. It's on sale currently for $899.99 so if they do a 10% or even 20% off coupon code, PLUS free shipping, then I'm gonna snag those.

Yes and no. I went with the Stagg struts, new Lemforder rubbers, hats, etc., but I re-used the oem springs. Honestly, I ordered all of the parts and forgot to order the springs, so I just went with what I had on hand. The Mini is used as a daily driver, along shoddy SoCal freeways, and it holds up well. In the future, I may go with some springs for aesthetic purposes, but it'll stay this way for now. By the way, the fitment was perfect. No beating into place, shaving down tabs, etc.

Thanks so much for replying. Did you buy the adjustable read control arms? Would I need those if I'm lowering 1.5 on vogltand springs and the stagg shocks?

Do you remember everything you purchased when you bought the stuts? I saw you put something about lemforder rubber and hats?

Car looks great btw. How did you paint the gas cap and door handles?

Any lowering you do on your MINI you'll want to invest in some rear adjustable control arms to keep your alignment into OEM spec. Hotchkis makes some really great quality arms here that you can check out. You'd only need to go with the 2 and not the 4 piece kit. He went with Lemforder strut/shock mounts, which is definitely a good idea to replace while you're in there for the job. The front strut mounts by Lemforder are here and the rear shock mounts are here. If you need help piecing together additional good bolts/nut items to replace while you're doing this job just shoot me a PM with your vehicle info and I'd gladly put everything you need together.
