Abnormally Oily DDMWorks

Can anyone with the ddmworks intake tell me if this is normal? ive driven it for about 2500 miles and its always really oily under it.

I've never seen a ddm works setup but it looks to me like you got a little too much oil on the filter. You might try squeezing the filter with a rag to remove a bit of oil, or clean it and re oil it. Make sure you use a foam filter oil, or whatever is recommended by ddm, foam filter oil is pretty tacky stuff and helps keep it from falling off the filter, as well as trap dirt more efficiently.
