Small water leak in both doors

When we get hard rain for a pretty good while we tend to get leaks. The passenger door leaks first and worst, the driver door has have a lot more rain before it starts to leak. Both are leaking in the exact same place. The water is coming in from low, not dripping, because the floor mat is dry while the carpet underneath is wet. You can clearly see in both images where it is coming in and running down the plastic trim.

Driver door, note the discolored trail leading right to the carpet.

Passenger door, same leak pattern as the driver door.

It doesnt leak a lot, maybe enough to get an area six inches in diameter wet on the passenger side and a couple inches on the driver.

We bought the car from Carmax and they have looked at it many times, they then took it to the local MINI dealer who has looked at it a couple times. Neither shop can duplicate the issue although Carmax did have it leak while sitting in their parking lot once.

One note that may be helpful is that the seals on the top of the door that press against the window do not seem to be sealed very well. My wife makes the point that on all her previous cars (not MINIs and not convertibles) rolling the window down would "squeegee" water off the outside of the window and in this car it pretty much does nothing.

The wife is getting a little frustrated at the repeated trips to the shop (even though we always get a loaner) and no progress is being made so any tests or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

The front windows need adjusted on the window dip or the windows themselfs to seal up against the seal. They can be adjusted.
