Thanks! When I replace the struts and do the JCW brake upgrade ill paint the wheels gold I just wanted to test on the mirrors and see how I like the color combo. And I am pleased! Thanks for the kind words

Wow, that looks good!

I am curious to see what the gold wheels would look like... Good job.

I got my replacement speakers from ECS and it was a lot easier than I thought. Was a fun little project.
Thanks for the order

Playing around with graphing data from OBD Fusion. Not sure where I'm going with this but it's kind of fun.

Thanks all for the kind words. I am going to be doing a suspension and JCW brake re haul next so when I do that I will be sure to paint the wheels gold too. I really like the contrast.

I did the rear brakes on my 2012 MCS. I had to rent the piston tool, but it made the job a breeze. While at it I installed ALTA's rear control arms.

Glued back the front end of the headliner (in front of the visors), that had
recently fallen down after a mere 13.5 years.
Used a 3M spray product.

It cooled off here last night, so I was able to turn the A/C off. There such a difference in throttle response. Viva La Autumn (well almost).

It cooled off here as well so I had the 2nd opportunity to wash the car since I've owned. The challenge wheels are a PIA to clean. They took as long to clean as the rest of the car!

They definitely are a huge pain to clean! But when they're clean they look awesome.

My girlfriend and I took Barnaby up to the white mountains in New Hampshire for the Labor Day weekend. Drove about 3hrs there and 3hrs back and had a great time. Barnaby is doing great, I just need to get a metal expansion tank here soon to stop the very small coolant leak overall it was a great weekend driving through the mountains with our MINI!

That's a good look!

I just wrapped up a 2 weekend project. Car is at 171,500 miles:

Powerflex LCA bushings
New inner & outer ball joints (Lemfoerder)
New lower engine mount (Lemfoerder)

Definitely tightened things up a bit. I think the old lower engine mount was the biggest culprit in the jerkiness I was feeling.
