Just got some H&R springs for my R60S (SNR control arms are on the way) Anyway, I was checking out pics of dropped MINI's and came across yours. It literally stop me in my tracks...without a doubt you have one of the phattest MINI's I've ever seen. There's nothing overdone. Everything is tight! In a word, crisp! Nice job!
I think its about time for me to get another clubman
This was my Countryman
And my current MINI but again for sale at the moment

A+! Love the look man, looks great. I also love low vehicles. I am new to the Mini world, first Euro for me. I am still and will always be a Jdm lover, but I could get used to the Euro world.

05 MCS with Swift Springs
05 MCS with 215 45R16's just installed Swift springs and Koni Yellows:
before with factory springs and shocks:
I initially was planning for a set of KW Clubsport, but after reading about the Swift spring development for the R53 I changed my mind about coilovers. I am extremely pleased with the combination. The Swift springs did take a bit of time to settle to the current height - about 3/4" drop as claimed.

No way! I posted my modestly dropped Mini here certainly not expecting to win a body slam contest.
I am very content with 3/4" ride height reduction. I know all too well what its like to have a car that you have to worry about leaving the bumper cover behind driving on less than ideal roads that is standard issued now with the deteriorated transportation infrastructure of this country. I like not having to slow down with the Mini going over train and street car tracks and still have the go kart like handling on our roads.

Yes, there are many benefits of not being on the ground and daily driving.

Very nice! Like to see the Gen 1 with the full painted body. A rare thing to find.

Learned how to work on cars with my wife and her 03 mustang that she drag races. I told her "If I ever got a mini, it would have to be an "s", I would put some cams and almost every bolt on part to make sure its quicker than most hondas =), but I would slam the crap out of it.
My wife has an 06 checkmate that has similar mods, but not lowered at all because she likes to take corners fast.....I love dragging slow over speedbumps/occasionally scraping the road, and being asked if the car is bagged or not.
thanks again

I've got a thing for R53s with painted arches... My first was a '06 PW/PW/PW (Pepper white with body colored roof and arches) and I just acquired an '05 JCW CR/CR/CR.
I don't know if I've ever seen a silver one done w/ painted arches. That really is special! The lowering is just right too!
Your car would be absolutely spectacular if you have the wheels painted body color. The slight shift in color is a bit distracting and an all silver would be stunning, especially with those large wheels.
