For others: The nav system is moderately straightforward to retrofit into another car, if you don't mind building a couple of simple wiring harnesses yourself. There's a thread on it over in the Gen II electronics forums. I've done it, and the main problem was getting all the wiring connectors. Since in this case it's a working system, I'm sure you can arrange to get ALL the bits you need from NorthWestEuro.

(That would include head unit, display, center dash trim panel, center console trim (where the shifter/parking brake are located), joystick, and all wiring connectors. Also, don't do this if you aren't comfortable doing a bit of wiring work.)

The nav system isn't the fastest around but it's decent, and it's much nicer browsing an iPod or USB stick with the big screen! I'm glad I did it.

 

If you still have available, I need to ask of you a few internal components from the passenger side door, your foglight housings (if they are not cracked), and your driver-side side skirt.
