My White Tire Lettering

I ordered them from tire stickers.com

So these are my winter Bridgestone Blizzaks. These are 175's so thinner than the stock 195's but will be better for my Ontario, Canada winters (I live in what's called a snow belt, so can get loads of snow). Looks a little odd at first as they don't come out enough to be even with the fender wheel flair, but I am used to it now.

I want to see how they hold up and if they last I am going to do the same for the new rubber I am going to put on in the spring (firestone indy 500 or BF Goodrich G-Force comp - still deciding)

I have always loved the retro race car look of white tire letters, and it was an easy mod and I think makes my Mini stand out from the rest.

Just wanted to share, as I love them...

2012 Baker Street Edition Cooper

It's a bit dirty, construction site near me I have to go through and its always muddy - impossible to keep clean for long

Summer rims are black 16 inch 6 twin spoke mini wheels

I picked up these 15 inch R81 Black Holies on kijiji - little bit of curb rash but look great for my winter set of tires

That raised a question: How would white sidewalls look? Was a time they were almost considered standard equipment.

Hi Gatorlapis - they cost $90 including shipping to canada.. Took about 90 mins to prep tire and apply, very easy , I took my time, also the wheels were off the car so it was even easier.

Now I want to do more to continue the race car look, as it seems unbalanced now, so I am thinking about getting the cooper challenge vinyl graphic, the checkered strip along bottom of the door with the white number badge behind front wheel.

Like this, but just the stripe and number badge

Not sure if this is too much, I really like it though, so might just try it, as its just a graphic and can be removed if I change my mind

Still just thinking about it, perhaps some other graphic, I do like the look of the look of A-panel graphics, maybe something white, union jack, checkered flag type thing

Looks good, but Bridgestone should pay you to advertise for them!

@JPMM - those look great - I really like the dunlop decals up front too, i love the mini cooper challenge reach car look, but not too much, yours is just right, a little bit of that race car look, but not full on like the actual race cars, that would look a bit too out of place on the street.

I'm "old school" but, white lettering looks high performance and makes your Mini standout.
