I have the studded snow tires with the R52 Convertible on my old white 15" MINI wheels. The thing is a tank in the snow.

hahaha salt! you should see my car now... was going to wash it but with the recent slight bump in temps it's wet everywhere and the residual salt would just get everywhere again. I buy a crapload of car wash cards every year when the local chain has them on sale so maybe I should, anyway...

I was going to put mine up for the winter. She is an 08 with very little rust because the previous owner kept her in garages. I bought the car cover and everything to put in my friends outdoor building on her farm. Buut then I decided that I wanted to keep my girl close by. I won't drive her on the really crummy winter days because the run flats are crap. I don't want to buy new tires quite yet because these only have about 9k miles on them. So I replaced the battery today because it was the original one, and it died as soon as it temp got below 20. I know it wasn't the alternator because it stayed charged when it was warm out. Lemme tell you, she starts up soo nice now. Did an oil change, and now she it ready for some winter fun!
Here she is in the last snow storm.
