Super Rare! Only 32 will ever be made. I'll post some more info on it soon. Enjoy!

What's rare about it?

It looks like a normal Cooper S with some JCW accessory bits on it.

Not being facetious - serious question since I haven't heard of that edition before :D

Yup. S with a tuning kit and some trim bits. Doesn't even have the BBK, but those wheels wouldn't clear the calipers anyway. You can option a car just like it at a dealer near you.

It's a limited run that MINI is making, just as they did last year for the Carbon Edition. I think it's fun that MINI takes chances and makes weird editions. Some are cooler than others of course obviously, but I wanted to showcase this particular one. Has a nice look to it. (I personally would want the Carbon Edition, but that's just me...)

Ah, gotcha - very similar to the Carbon Edition then, but at least with the Carbon Edition, you had exclusive graphics..

I guess my local dealer got a couple similar cars in recently as well. Cooper S F56 and F55 with the tuning kit, black headlight/taillight rings, JCW Pro front splitter, JCW Pro spoilery bits, etc.

Hmmmm... This just looks like a stock "S" with the JCW exhaust and mirrors caps. Oh, and red center wheel caps.

If this was an official Mini Limited Edition release, why has Mini not released any press release about it?

Sounds like a little sales trick that a individual dealership is trying to pull.

It's from Mini of Manhattan - isn't that the only factory owned dealer in the US? It could make sense that they would have the power to have an actual factory made special edition just for them.

You should see what the OP has had done to his JCW Coupe in NYC. I've never heard of anyone modding their Mini to that degree. Not only the usual tune, but a custom turbocharger and other performance parts under the hood. He's got a tread for it in the Coupe forum. I don't think he's dyno'ed it yet.

Since their was no true JCW of the F55, just the carbon edition and then this which I like in white silver. Wish the carbon series came in the flat black like the CM Black Knight edition.

Thanks for posting up, bet NYC get more editions based off location and area.

Why do these posts draw out the few guys who feel it necessary to denigrate other people's choices in cars? You don't like it, don't buy it.

Maybe because this is complete BS and people know it. This isn't an official Limited Edition model from Mini, but just a standard F55 with the JCW mirror caps popped on and some red center wheel caps snapped in.

Any one of us could go build and order this exact car on the Mini Configurator site right this second. "Only 32 will be made" is a straight up lie.

Identical (Except I forgot to add the black headlight trim option)

I was referring to the people who think F series cars are ugly and need to constantly tell people that. Your points are all valid.

It is a true limited release from MINI USA. I have the official document saying so. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to post a picture of it. (trust me, if I could I would.)

Thanks for the shout out. The link for it is: http://bit.ly/all4r58

It's a complete animal. Pretty close to 350HP (Flywheel) and 280wHP (to the wheels)

Hopefully, sometime this year I'll dyno it.

It's not a lie. I work for MINI of Manhattan as the MINI Genius. I took a screen shot of part of my screen. I can't post the entire bulletin as it has corporate info I'm not allowed to post. Trust me, it's a real thing. I understand your qualms.

I hoped those factory ties would have helped me obtain my dream of a factory VO F54 in the US.

Even offering to pay it in full, they couldn't do the special order. So I did the next best thing with that money, paid down my student loans dramatically.

Just post a picture of the window sticker showing the 'Eastern Region JCW Package' option.

Look towards the bottom. It's a real package. I'm not making it up. 🚗💥💨
