I got the $1,000 off from MINI for loyalty/preorder and then a little bit more off since I had bought my previous MINI hardtop from the same dealer. PM me if you happen to be in the Boston or Rhode Island area. I think the $1k off ends Feb 28 and applies to current MINI owners only.

Is there any better tracking other than the Mini Lounge or bugging the dealership? I am stuck in an info void...and hopefully being loaded on a ship somewhere. Today, Mar 2, the Owner's Lounge continues with "In Production" with no updates despite the dealer's private access speadsheet showing production complete 2/23 (eight days ago) and further confirmed with the free VIN search that "Produced" 2/22. Checked the Wallenius site and VIN# in Cargo ID returned "no record." K-Line doesn't serve the Brunswick port so ruled them out. Guess today will swing by the dealer and see if they have updated info, but it is frustrating. I have an appointment on 3/29 with VW to turn in my diesel so trying to get an idea of how long will be without a car or if need to extend that appointment date - if possible. 3/29 was actually the soonest when I established it in February after I got the Mini production date.

Also, an FYI...
I have always known that the final eight digits of the VIN, the eighth digit = year, or in this case H=2017. The seventh digit had me purplexed as it represents the factory where built and Mini/BMW doesn't list that info. Looking at the window stickers on vehicles at the dealer determined that when seventh digit = 2, it is made at the Oxford plant. When it = 3, like mine, it is Born, Netherlands. At least that tells me will be shipped from Zeebruge, Belgium and not Southport, UK
Unfortunately, the dealer didn't have updated info either, still showing built on 2/23 but "in production".

They usually lag behind a little. You should call 866-ASK-MINI, follow prompts, see what the automated system tells you, then ask to speak with representative for up to date details.

According to MotoringFile a MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 should ring in just above the price of a $37K JCW (£31,585 UK). To start.
