Rally light cover alternative?

I just got rally lights installed at the dealer Friday and of course they gave me the black mini covers but they blend in with the grill and I want to SEE my new investment.

Has anyone done any films to help protect against rock chips? Or are there clear covers available? Or I was thinking of maybe doing a yellow film to change up the look, but am concerned with the hotness of the lamps and melting?? Any thoughts?

they don't quite fit as well as the black covers but they can be made work.

led covers

those look great on your white cm, but i have a royal grey with black, so i don't think that will work .. i was thinking of doing a yellow film. has anyone done it? does it protect at all? melt on the lens{they get hot}?
