As for me, I had to un-name mine since it broke down on the drive home that day I named it. I don't think it likes names so for now it is just my MC40.
Adding more credence to the name "Maw" we are about to spend close to $5000 to repair damage to the engine caused by Turbo failure (see post "Turbo failure collateral damage. HELP!). Our son actually named the car "Joslyn" but I continue to refer to the car as "Maw".

I surprised my daughters with my car and the first time I took my 17 year old out in it she quickly named it Sport. So, that stuck! My plate is "TWEE" for the British word meaning "overly cute and silly"...sorry for the men in the forum, but she is cute to me! Sporty but cute!
