Not my first rodeo...or is it?
Hi. my name is Sean and I live in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I just bought a '09 MCS with just over 55K on the clock.
This is my third BMW product. My oldest son has a 2004 BMW X3, my wife has a 2011 BMW X3, and I finally have a MINI! I've never forgiven mysel for selling my '66 Austin Mini Cooper S back in the Eighties, but maybe this is my second chance.
There are certainly some comparisons with my original Mini, but I'd say I recognize more of my BMW in this iteration. I appreciate everyone posting in forums (especially with pictures!). I mine them like I'm searching for gold, which I sometimes find.
My MINI is in excellent shape. Driven by the proverbial little old lady, its only fault is it probably wasn't driven hard enough. Recalls are complete, Carfax/maintenance checks out, turbo oil line has been insulated, I ordered a hood heat shield - The only thing I'd like to do right away is install a catch can, and program my heartbeat to flash. otherwise, I'm motorin'!
Again, thanks to all the posters!
