The Best Phone Holder / Combo IMHO
The comments are not an end all and be all, I am just sharing my insight on what works for me...
In my opinion, the best phone holder / set up for the F56 is the following.
I went originally with the Mini Phone Mount click and Drive (non OEM, but found out there source overseas).
Pro: It's OEM looking.
Cons: It gets into the field of vision when driving, and to me, was a distraction.
So, I removed it.
On my other vehicles, I have a CD slot. I find the CD Slot mount with magnetic to be very ideal. And since it is magnetic, you can change vehicles since any phone, with metal backing will work. So for the household of more than one driver, this is really ideal.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) the JCW F56 has no provision for CD Slot.
I eventually went with the PROCLIP, it puts the phone mount IMHO, in the perfect place.
It requires NO tools to install, is plug and play (I did not remove the adhesive protection when installing, just in case I wanted to remove it) and is really in the sweet spot. It is solid, and rattle free, and the phone does not move or shake.
I then used a rubber backed, magnetic stick on mount from Scosche, which I used with the self 3m backing to peel and stick onto the Pro Clip plate. The Scosche is very strong, and positions and holds the phone perfectly. I FINALLY after much trial and error, found the perfect combo that meets my needs / household. If you have different users, with different phones, this setup works universally well, whether you have a Xiaomi Mi Mix (my phone) or any other phone Apple/Android setup.

eyes on the road... as much as possible..
The downside with a cup holder type phone holder, is in fact the placement of the phone. Will the adaptor bring the phone high up enough so as to be in a functional position? And will it be too high that it will be vibrate causing you to focus more on what your trying to read or do on the screen than you should?

Ditto that ...
It was so disappointing to discover the lack of support for Android! For now, I have a iPhone through my work that I am using. However, the 20GB of internal memory in the Mini is limiting my music collection, so I'm torn on whether to use the USB for the phone or a USB flash drive.

Their site is a bit tricky. Way to find it is actually to click on the "Dashboard" link in the top row and then you enter your car information (other links ask for your phone information).
