Warranty fixes on my roadster were wiring harness for oil pressure on rear side of oil pan. Transmission drive shaft oil seal and passanger side window regulator replacement. I forget exactly how to do it but you can make the spoiler stay up by hitting the switch when the car is not moving. Might want to check that before calling it broken.

did you check the owner's manual for what this means?
page 204 in the manual for a 2014
{if it is UP, check the support area for crud ..... something blocking the movement. If it is down ... let the dealer futz with it lest they blame you for damage.}
"Malfunction
The indicator lamp lights up briefly
when the ignition is switched on and an
acoustic signal is issued. A message appears
on the Control Display.
Display in the following situations:
▷ The rear spoiler is extended.
Retract the rear spoiler manually, or it is retracted
again automatically at approx.
12 mph/20 km/h.
▷ The rear spoiler cannot be extended from
the rear spoiler box.
Check whether the rear spoiler is free of
snow or ice, for example. Clear the rear
spoiler or de-ice it.
The warning lamp lights up and an
acoustic signal is issued a number of
times. A message appears on the Control
Display.
Display in the following situation:
The rear spoiler cannot be fully extended; refrain
from exceeding a speed of
50 mph/80 km/h. Have the system checked.
If a malfunction occurs, Dynamic Stability Control
DSC is activated at speeds greater than
30 mph/50 km/h.
"
OR, did you just find out why it was traded in so early?
It is a silly thing .... it surprises me half the time it pops up with the top down ... I think something is falling off! I'm tempted to just cut the wire and lock it down .....
our 2015 is not quite a year old .... a lot orphan we bought last summer.

Nice! congrats... finally someone else with a kite blue roadster on NAM
Now, next step, let's get that top down
ps: silly or not I love that little spoiler. I hope you figure out what's up with it.
3.5 years, soon 40,000 miles and we haven't had much issues with the car, though I still don't know what's up with the knocking sound during very cold temperatures. Probably some bushings related issue. Unfortunately the car is running out of warranty in August and there won't be much cold temperature for the dealer to believe us and fix the issue

Congrats, the Kite Blue is soo rare and to find it on an R59 is even rarer. I almost bought one in an R58 platform.

Nice, yes, it was rare but in the R58 and R59 it was more common as they had a JCW appearance package that people jumped for. It has the JCW door sills, challenge wheels, red stitched steering wheel and shift ****.

Almost right...
Mine has sills and wheels, but from factory with no red stitched nor red ****. Also build sheet shows JCW Aero pkg, JCW Exterior Pkg, and Mini Connected w/central LCD Display and no NAV.

At one point (on my 2012 at least) the JCW "package" supplied both interior and exterior stuff together. A year or two later it was split into "interior" and "exterior" separately.

I agree sir,
I also have a '15 JCW in MIDNIGHT BLACK METALLIC, they too are relatively common. I really do like your grey. We looked for one, but none available with options we wanted.

If it's the kit, give me a buzz when you pout it on sale, just so I can think about it...

The kit, but...
No, the car came from the factory with the pkgs described, and as I now own 3 R58s, I need to sell one, so the wife says. She just can't see the potential.

Not enough R58's, the wife does not understand the rare collection.

Understanding isn't the issue.
She loves her Red over White Silver Metallic '14 JCW. She just thinks, rightly so, that 2 people with 3 coupes and a Silverado is a bit much, and I can't do without my truck!

Darn,
Wish I had known that. I just sold a '10 hardtop a few months ago. I need to start my own. Can't seem to gen up any interest here. Nearest club is ~100 miles. I sent invites to 25+ owners in this area to talk about starting a group. Not 1 reply!
EDIT: Apologies to the OP, "BlueCooperS". Beautiful Kite Blue. I never intended to Hijack.
