Left the Mini World

Well after feeling let down by my Countryman the last two years I went back to my first love, a 17 370z. To me the CM turned out to be just a mini SUV, not sporty at all. It looked great but drove like a dog. I wish I had kept my 08 MCS because even the thought of going back to the new 2 door MCS just didn't appeal to me at all. Maybe some day I'll be back but if Minis keep getting bigger this might be the end. This is a great community, aloha to all and happy motoring.

I did a group ride a couple of weeks ago up on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Two groups and ours did allot of off Parkway twisties. There was a CM S all4 and IMO the Nissan would not have been able to keep up on those roads. Had numerous hair pins turns and a buddy and I that had poo-pawed the "big" minis were quite amazed at how well the biggies handled.

Yes they most likely did not have the "feel" that our smaller models had, but they kept pace with us.

Similar to the one I owned way back when. The newer ones just never did it for me, but I can see how you prefer that to the Countryman. Best of luck!
