I've read a lot on the "trifecta" issue but have not come across any advice for the symptoms I am having in my '03 R53. I just rebuilt the engine and now have all three lights. They were going out when I restarted the car and then coming back on when I turned the wheel all the way to the left. I had a shop check the codes and he was able to tell me it was the front left. I replaced the front left wheel speed sensor and took it for a drive. Now, instead of being intermittent, the lights come on as soon as I start rolling and stay on. That hub was replaced about a year ago, before the engine rebuild, but I never saw the lights on after that repair and drove it several thousand miles after replacing it. I can't seem to comprehend how the new sensor actually made the problem worse. Any ideas of how to proceed?
Its was maybe the wire or the plug itself, sometimes the prongs can bend on insert and are not snapped in all the way. You Have to make sure that socket is all the way in.
Check also for a cut line on the body side or the housing clip being damaged. A voltmeter will let you know there is some small voltage.
