What did you name your MINI

Growing up we always gave a name to every vehicle we owned, even if it wasn't running at the time. This seems to be pretty common among car enthusiast and was wondering if the Mini community was any different. Plus its always fun to have a page where everyone gets to introduce their car instead of themselves. I searched the forum and didn't come up with anything. While I have only owned our Mini for about five days and she still doesn't have a name, I will start off with my other vehicles and update when a name comes to me for her.

I currently have a
Black 2011 F150 FX4 Crew Cab with the 5.0: Black Betty (somehow the song always comes on at the start of a long trip)
2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited: Balthazar (from the TV show Brooklyn 99) Because she is a thirsty XXXXX!!!
2011 Clubman S: TBD

No name here other than "Not Cute" when I hear that dreaded four letter word.

Yea, I got that from the wife. She wanted to name it Bitty, as in itty bitty. That was a hard NO, it made me think of a chick first then the saying "old bitty" neither was good. It also doesn't help that it's a Pepper White Clubman with a black top and has a hurst like look to it.

Never had the inclination to name either my old R56 or the F56. A lot of people do though.

That ended that !

My parents named their cars and they were not car people. I haven't felt the urge to name any of my vehicles and I am nuts about them. Maybe needing to name things skips a generation.

Never have before; however, this one has character so I name it Stirling - Rebel Green with white accents ... just like the early Coopers.

MINI gets so into names.. they even market it. I think they even have a sticker when you buy your car to name it, i have seen it in the UK, dont know if they are doing this in the US. Anyone get one of those?

Both of our MINIs have names.
The '07 convertible is named "Yoda" since he's old, green, small and still awesome.
The '17 Countryman is named "Big Blue" since it's blue, while a big MINI, still small which satisfied a desire to be ironic.

The UK certificate looks so much better than this US certificate (If this is real)

I think I've seen a MINI door jamb decal for the name, but I can't find it right now.

My local dealer (Boston, MA) encouraged naming the family car (2013 Countryman) when I bought it. As a Dad joke, I named it Lady Churchill von Goefastah.
It stuck--Now that's how we (almost) always refer to the car.

I've made it a point to name all my cars(wife won't let me name hers though). I try to make my names relevant to the car's history. I'm crazy that way. For example, both my previous Volvo wagons were named for Norse goddesses. In the case of my '16 Clubman S, I chose Victoria after Victoria, Princess Royal. Daughter of Queen Victoria, she married German Emperor Frederick III and became Empress of Prussia. So, like Mini itself, she was born British royalty and married into German royalty. Kind of a parallel to BMW acquiring the rights to Mini from Rover group.

Here’s the US certificate. No, it’s not as nice as the UK or Aus ones.
