Turbo oil leak

I have notice that car is leaking a good amount of oil from the turbo. I'm not sure where exactly the leak starts. From what I heard and read it seems like I need to replace the turbo part, but I've also saw something about an oil supply pipe. How can i know what needs replacing( sorry don't know anything about cars)

Look at the top of the turbo where the oil line connects. If it's has oil try replacing the line.

Take it to a bmw/mini shop and ask to have your turbo oil feed line replaced. Should cost anywhere from $500-$1000 depending on the shop.

Here is all the info on the turbo oil lines. Read this is goes through all the thing to look for and parts you need. If you cant do it yourself you can show this to a local euro shop.

There are a couple usual culprits for oil leaks in that area: the vacuum pump, turbo oil feed line, and the oil filter housing gasket. But as of the past year or so I've seen multiple cars with an oil leak from a galley plug behind the flywheel that could be mistaken as a filter housing leak.

I would recommend getting it diagnosed and looking into our TOL Super Kit, it uses a stainless braided line and MINI OE gaskets, and encompasses many of the failure points of that job.

I advise everyone against the MINI OE feed line as it's a garbage design that hasn't been revised and will only leak in the same fantastic fashion.
