Remote Services is coming to mini. Countryman also?
Guys, i really want remote services like bmw. I want to be able to pre contition my phev. So i was surfing about this. I found a new section on mini site about mini remote services. I was surprised. I asked trough chat if they know if i can get it to but at the moment he said no. Does anybody have more intel on this? We as a community know often more combined
)

Teleservices should be coming to 2019 MINIs which begin in March production, though I'm not sure it will be standard. A lot of the BMW functions such as concierge, SOS, Advanced RTTI, Remote Services, and stuff like pre-conditioning are supposed to be available soon.
Teleservices requires new hardware and wiring, so don't expect it to be retrofittable.

The update is for all Mini models produced from 03/2018.
If you try the german configurator for a Countryman SE right now, you are getting the new options!
E.g, in the "packets" section you find "Mini Connected Navigation Plus" instead of the "wired package" that was before.
It's most probably a new option code.
My SE will enter production on 28/02/2018(!), and until yesterday it shows the old option codes on the dealer's system.
No changes can be made anymore.
It looks like I'm getting one of the last pre-update models (MY2018 instead of MY2019)!
And this hurts a tech-shavvy guy like me!
I'm in talks with the dealer if something can be done but it doesn't look good...

Right now here in Greece you cannot order the packages with the upgraded connectivity. Not even for the LCI F56, I checked on the dealer’s system myself!
So even if I cancel the order, I’ll have to wait an undefined time just for ordering the new features. I got a hint for November(!), but in Greece you cannot rely on anything.
I don’t know if possible for my Mini to have the new features even if it doesn’t say on the order. Countrymans are all built in the same factory in the Netherlands, so maybe there’s a chance...
