time to say goodbye to my beloved jcw
well some of you may know me through my posts on this site. i've not been very active for couple years due to work and intense travel schedule. however, it's time to say goodbye. i'm selling my 2013 jcw with fully loaded factory options as spec'ed and $8,000 worth of mods and performance parts. you can search for my previous posts about all the work i've done and installations.
i'm selling my jcw because i'm picking up my champion white serial R-12321 (palindrome) 2018 honda civic type R next week...after waiting for 25 yrs. it's one of those silly things for a car guy, you know ;-)
thanks for all the fun here guys and gals. i've learned a lot from other owners and hopefully gave back something. this is why forums like this helps. thanks ECS tuning for the great service and quick deliveries from 2 hours north of me. i'm not going to far since i also buy things from you for my porsches and audis. too bad you don't have anything for my lambo ;-) also thanks to the folks at nm engineering who are top notch product guys for the mini...high quality and customer service. i loved working with them for advice and ordering many of the parts i've installed.
so any takers for my car feel free to pm me. like i said search for my posts and threads for a lot of details i've shared on my journey in building a highly reliable, drivable, and blast to drive daily and occasional weekend auto-crossing fun. owning a mini cooper was on my bucket list and have done it ;-)
take care!

lol...it's definitely a love-hate thing for anyone who first react to the new ctr. for me it's a 25 yr wait come true. i'm a diehard honda formula 1 fan and "champ white" color has a special place in history.
thanks

I had two s2000's and if not for me being 6-3 and being around since before color tv, I would most likely still be in one. You have not driven a tight six-speed until you have taken a Honda for a spin. Now on the Type R, yes it will kick my R52's butt, but, for me a sporty car is a two door and the rear end just consumes the rest of the car.
Good luck to you.
Good luck to you.

i actually want an original OLD school mini, as in the small austin mini from late 60's or early 70's. it's on my bucket list to collect as i get older in my 50's ;-) this one intrigues me: https://classics.autotrader.com/clas...mini/100923553
thanks

Again sorry to see it go. Congrats on the new Type R, looks like fun. Maybe down the road you will catch the MINI bug again

my mini jcw has been sold, and new owner is coming tomorrow to pick it up. will be sad to see it go for sure...rock solid go-kart i have named "the italian job", movie that inspired me to get one to start with.
the honda ctr (serial R-12321, a palindrome) came home last friday with just 3 miles final shakedown from the factory on the o.d. she's sitting pretty as a virgin under the italian bull...
