MINI Spider?

OK everyone has anybody else come across this, seems I have a spider living inside my headlight unit in my MINI Cooper adaptive headlight. Been running around for at least the last 6 months without showing any signs of vacating the headlight unit, can’t imagine what it's living on.

Any suggestions welcome

Ill be damned, 6 months? Thats crazy

Are you getting any moisture in the light? Im sure just for novelty sake, your Dealer would replace that under warranty

Haven’t been to the dealer yet about it as the car is only 8 months old, thought the little guy would have died before now. I mean how long do spiders live? Comes and goes from week to week. No sign of moisture and everything looks and operates fine with the headlight unit. Have just Tweeted MINI UK about it? It’s not an issue at the moment but I would hate to see it die on display in the unit.
A strange one for sure!

So when you turn your lights on...does it display a Spider image? I mean Marvel should flat out pay you a fee.

Knew there’d be an upside to this, I’ll get onto them straight away for the royalties.
Still there by the way, still holding out the little guy gets bored and moves out!

To coax the spider out, I suggest you sprinkle a million live moths and mosquitoes on top of the head-light.

On a serious note, have you tried removing the head-light? Maybe try putting your finger(s) inside to temp the spider out?

Not sure how you go about removing an LED headlight unit, probably wait until the car goes in for its first 12 month check up and ask them what they may be able to do if the little guys still about.
On a more positive note, he does come and go so must be living in the back of the unit somewhere?

According to secret sources (google, etc.) spiders can last a long time without food/water. Could also be a spy for Fiat or Mitsubishi. I once found a small frog inside a bubble of a roll of bubble wrap. Poor little fella.

I would like to know how many open the thread thinking that MINI has introduced a "Spyder" model . . . . .

Or this:

I would take the light out and open it up, leave it setting in the sun for a day, he will get hot and crawl out hopefully.

or there are millions of spiders that the original spider laid eggs and now they are all over the inside of that mini?
