The only difference between the hfs2 and hfs3 is the gage that never moves. The hfs 2 can be upgraded to the hfs3. That said I don't need a gage so if I can get it before the dragon and the hfs2 I am in

Depends on which motor your running but the common benefits are cooler intake temps and the methanol increases fuel octane both these allow timing to be advanced with less chance of detonation which = More Power. With the R56 Direct Inject motor you get the added benefit of the meth helping keep the coking problem in check

FWIW, meth will certainly help with iats but unless you are racing and constantly in boost and meth, there isn't enough meth entering your intake tract to wash the carbon away. R2fanatic showed pics of his Street car with men needing carbon blasting only after a few miles as I recall.

Also remember that this system is not BOOST based, it is Injector Duty Cycle (IDC) and you do not have to be in boost for the system to active, you just need the 'load' to be at the point in which you have set it.
I have mine set at about 80% and I have seen it active on the hwy with the cruise on if the car is climbing a hill. It was only 30% injection for about 1 sec but none the less it was active.
I would rate this system as the #2 Best upgrade that you can do for the R53 after the SuperCharger Pulley. And I would still rate it at the same for the R56, after a tune.

I was typing quickly, u are correct on duty cycle vs boost... still, I just don't buy it. Everyone's driving style is different as well as when they have the system configured to kick in as well as water/meth ratio, but R2Fanatic opened up his after only 25k and it didn't look good. I won't be doing meth to keep my valves cleaned, if I do it, it will be for IATs.

No it will NOT CLEAN the deposits, but it will keep them from forming.

Curious of price, because my local fuel station stopped carrying E85
