The law enforcement escorted Motor Run will benefit the Special Operations Warrior Foundation a 501 (c) (3) charity founded in 1980 whose mission is dedicated to providing college scholarships and educational counseling to the surviving childern of Special Operations personnel who are killed in an operational mission or training accident.

Turbett came up with a great idea for a change to improve the run. She's added a more pleasant ride over the Bay and some more twisties before you get to Bayshore Blvd. It ought to be just what you're looking for!

 

Bayshore Blvd is a nice drive from the South (Gandy Blvd.) into downtown Tampa until you get to Rome Ave. where the road turns into concrete. The concrete slabs have shifted over the years and have left them at different levels at the joints. Bumpy. Davis Island thru the West side and back around the Peter OKnight airport to the Side and back to Bayshore isn't a bad little slow cruze.
Any way we will see what they have planned for our drive when the time comes.

 

You can be assured, that even with the FHP, they are not going to let us push the pedal to the metal.

They will be very conservative, and lawful..

I'm going to prepay tomorrow for the run. Just praying I'll have my car, as I just discovered my coolant tank has leaked. Taking it to Downtown on Weds the 2nd for that and a couple of minor issues. I pray they don't need to keep it...

I just checked the inernet and called the reservation and hotel and the cheapest price for a room is $60.49. Where are you staying?? In the parking lot?? Cause they say 'No Way" $55.49.
