Hello, I am new here (as you can see) I produce ground wiring kits for Subarus and Nissans (yea, i know, bad words here ) And i am looking for a Mini in the San Diego (hopfully near the Mira Mesa area)
All i need is about an hour or your time (some times an hour and a half) Enough time for me to look for good grounding points, cut the acceptical lengh of wire (8ga) and take pictures (and use them for my site ).
I am not sure the grounding trick will work with minis, but its worth a try. It seams that the subaru lack good grounding for the engine, and this seems to help smoth out the engine, and some people feel more power (i didnt on my car)
If anybody is interested please let me know (i will keep an eye on here, as my friend is buying a mini, and in the process of waiting months for it )
If you want to know the colors i offer please see the this page. http://www.camotoy.com/products/products.php
it shows all the colors i offer.
I usualy sell these on ebay, and by becoming venders on forums. I also sell these direct to venders so they can rename them as there own (i cant say who, sorry )
Please let me know if you have any questions.

The person that helps will recieve a free kit with the upgraded gold terminals.
Thanks
Shane

the mini has a good ground right at the front of the engine on the pass. side of the car. you have to disconnet it when jacking up the engine to change the pully. see a photo of it here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...pic=8774&1

or this:

Yea, I guess I forgot that little part on my site
I will fix that when i get home. Its thoese little things that people forget

As for the stock ground, You can always make inprovments. On the Subaru, There is a stock 4ga going to the engine block from the battery, a 10ga going from the tranny to the firewall, and a 8ga going from the bat to the drivers side fender. I would have though this was enough, but when we added 5 additionl grounding points through out the engine, it seemed to help a lot.

As for contacting me please email me at shane@camotoy.com
and we can set somthing up, I will be up in santa barbara untill saturday, so anytime sunday should work. Please let me know.
Thanks for all the help.
Shane
