squeaking brakes

For the past 9 months, my brakes squeak a lot. I have gone the dealer (hendrick in Charlotte) and the say it is because of the humidity. I asked some other technicians and they say that they are full of crap.

Can anybody give me some guidance here? 06 MC with 13K. Shouldn't this be covered under warranty?

Mine squeak a lot as well. I've done the drive fast / slam on the brakes to burn the pads, no luck, they still squeak. My guess, crappy brake pads and there's nothing that can be done until I need a brake job.

Mine Squeak at only a certian pressure, (applied to pedal)

so i can avoid the squeaking.
I can only suppose maybe our rotors are glazed a little

when i had my car serviced last week, they said the brakes were fine.
i do remember a home-mechanic friend of mine using a "no squeak" compound when he replaced the pads on my first car (92 accord) LOL

We used a product called DISC BRAKE QUIET made by CRC, you can get it at any auto parts store.

It is a paste that we apply to the back of the brake pads.

We used it in all brake jobs, no more squeels or squeaks

Hope this will help you
