STABILITY CONTROL ON
WIPERS WORK LIKE THEY HAVE BEEN POSSES
HANDS COME FROM UNDER THE SEAT AND GRAB YOUR BOTTIE

The DSC indicator lamp (Dynamic Stability Control) is active and the automatic turn signal reset is inoperative. Fault code 5DFB is stored in the DSC. In addition, the following fault code memory entries may be stored

Fogging of the SZL optical element is caused by the out-gassing of the plastic steering wheel components. The fogging is a chemical reaction that reacts with the surface of the plastic optical element and cannot be cleaned off.

In case of customer complaint, perform diagnostics using the DIS tester and work through the related test modules. Replace the SZL if necessary

*raises hand* Just this morning as I was leaving work I hear the warning sound and look down to see both the brake and DSC light on. I pull over and read that I can continue with caution but to have the car looked at immediately. Dealership is on the drive home from work so I just stop in. On the way there I notice my wipers are possessed and my blinkers don't turn off automatically. Diagnosis: SZL.........part on order, who knows when it will be in. I'm now in an '06 MCS loaner and missing my Scarlett something terrible!
