There are 4 bolts that hold the motor mount mount on as seen in this. I just today changed mine and all I did was put a jack under the motor to support it and then unbolted the 4 bolts on the motor mount Part # 1 and removed the 4 bolts part # 2. So instead of unbolted and losening the other motor and tranny mounts and jacking up the motor, I took the mount off and changed the motor mount in under 30 minutes.

That is the same way I did mine. Unless I am reading the post wrong the earlier post in this thread was doing it the same way also.

I am not sure what you are asking?

You said you are not sure what I was asking so I clarified it. I was curious to people doing it this way instaed of the other way. Thats all.

pretty simple

I did this job this weekend without needing to jack the car or turn the wheels (it was raised on ramps so I could get underneath). You need the car raised to be able to work underneath to loosen the E12 torx bolt and to get a jack under the oil pan, but if you have a short phillips screwdriver and are patient I found you can remove the 3 or 4 wheel well liner clips needed without having the wheels turned or the suspension sagging. The liner only needs to be bent outward a couple of inches to allow access and sight of the E12 torx bolt head from below (use about a 12" extension on your breaker bar).

GoLikeSchell - exceptional instructions. Thanks

Perfect instructions.
Suggest that you do remove Rt Front Wheel and fender liner-good opportunity to clean all the grunge out of the inner rocker panel.
Torques (per Bentley):
Engine mount bracket to cylinder head = 100Nm (75 ft-lbs)
Engine mount bracket to Engine Mount = 68Nm (50 ft-lbs)
