My driver's seat is alive!!!

Has anyone had problems with there drivers seats? lately my drivers seat will randomly "pop" while braking or turning (putting force on the seat other than just driving in a straight line) im not really sure if its the seat raiser or the seat back adjuster... it feels more like the back... like its popping backwards...
i sit with the seat about 4 or 5 pumps up, so maybe it doesn't happen to seats that are all the way down.

i hope i haven't broken my seat... boo...

I know exactly what you mean. I have the same problem. I took my seat apart and looked and found nothing =/ Id suggest to take it to the dealer. Only reason im not taking mine is that mine is out of warranty.

Mine has a tendency to do the same thing. The next warranty service, I'm going to ask them to look it over.

do you mean that the seat moves a bit (glides) forward and backwards when braking or accelerating? If so, its because you are inbetween settings on the vertical adjuster. Play around with the veritcal adjuster (the handle that makes the seat go up and down) and wiggle your butt firmly on the seat until it locks into place.

Im thinking its in the seat back adjustment-
when i say the seat "pops" i mean it physically jumps backwards about 2 or 3 inches... which is the part i cant get used to- especially when my seat is moving about during a quick turn...
i guess ill have to take her in for a check up...
thanks for all the help
wish me luck

Here's a seat reset instruction quote from another thread.... maybe it will work for you...

kneel in the seat facing the backrest
pull bolth handles (backrest adjust and opposite handle) up
push the backrest with your shoulder back til you hear a click (I hit it pretty hard to hear the click.
That should reset the seat!
