A noise question

Before I take the next step, I'd like to know if anyone-see this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.com...ad.php?t=18230

-has replaced their harmonic balancer with a new or aftermarket one and had the noise go away?
I don't have a problem replacing it if that's the issue, but if not, I'd rather not waste the $$ and time.
I think there are a number of us out there that would like to know.
Thanks.

Thank you sir. I've read that the '05 version addressed the problem, so I'll be looking for one 'o them. Not too comfortable with the aftermarket version that lacks the rubber bushing. It's there for a reason, every engine manufacturer uses it, and they don't spend money on something if they don't
have to.
