I don't know if it will be easier or not but the hardest part I had was removing the hose on top of the pump. It took awhile and a few new words and I was to the point of cutting the hose off and buying another one. I had to walk away for a few minutes to get my mind off of it and when I got back to it I was able to get it off within a couple minutes.
I have read where some people have more trouble taking the pump out after unbolting it and slotted one of the holes to make it easier but I found that not necessary.
