Wheel arches......Broken?

So drive over to get some smokes today. On the way are some road humps. I take them slow but when i get out to go in the bodega the drivers side wheel arch is hanging off. I look closer and notice that they are attached by tiny little plastic clips??? So i am going up to the dealership to get this little thing fixed. The reason i am posting is just curious who else has had something happen to their wheel arches. Sorta wondering if this is going to be a repeating problem?

How old is your car? I would think if it's clips it should be a warranty deal if it's still a pretty new car. I have heard of it on the early '07s, and they were placed free.

yeah its still under warranty but it just seems like mini could have chosen a better way to attach stuff. Its a little........cheep. When stuff breaks early during owner ship it prob will break again.
