gearbox loose?? :(

Yesterday I was driving around running some errands, when I stopped at my dads house. My dad has a long uphill driveway, I usually start out in 2nd since I have momentum. BUT this time it made an awful grinding type noise, something I haven't heard before. I didn't miss 2nd. I switched to 1st and went up.

After I left it seemed like there was something loose in my gearbox as I went through the gears. Any ideas? pretty bummed out, its my first problem and my MCS has less than 3000 on the odometer. :( any help would be appreciated

the clutch surface is glazed.... do some aggressive shifting at higher rpms and it should take care of it. Use the 1st instead of 2nd and you will go longer before you have this problem again.
