I have read it before but when I try to shift into reverse (MC 06, right hand drive) its a bit tough, if I do it with one hand it has the chance of clanking when I put it in reverse. With two hands and a bit of gentle slow force it works fine. I have been told to change the transmission fluid. Any tips?
I'm in the habit of going into first gear and then right into reverse, clutch depressed the whole time, and I don't get the gear clash. A little trick from my non-synchroed Early Bronco days w/ a granny gear transmission. It seems to work.
