Does anyone know how to fix the rear seat latch? I just got the car so I'm not really ready to give it up yet to a dealer to fix.

Anyone know the trick to get it hooked back up or take the seat appart to get a better grab on the wire?

I don’t quite understand what it is you are trying to do, but if it is the seat latch rattling, I rapped a bit of black electrical tape on the D ring and that took care of the rattle. I also had to do the same for the trunk latch.

 

Mine came loose when I accidently pushed a box against it. Its a bit of a fuss to get the ends over the metal lip again but keep trying. I got it done back again in 15 min or so. Had to lever one end over the metal lip and snap on the cover again.

The latch handle on the rear seat that you pull to fold the seat down. The wire with the ball on the end disconnected its self from the handle. I need to hook these back together.

How does one pull the seat appart to get at the workings from inside?
