Click?

So my late build 2006 MC makes a very faint "click" sometimes when it just starts to move (1st or Reverse) and sometimes just after a downshift from 3rd to 2nd. The car shifts perfectly, as always, and it's either a single click or two.

The clicks sounds like a set of bad CV joints on a 1980 Honda but it only makes it once, rather than a CV-like click, click, click. Has anyone else experienced this?

Can't really hear it unless the driver's window is down...

Thanks to all.
