Replacement Horns
#1
I want to replace my OEM horns with either a set of air trumpets or a set of Hella horns. Came close to getting hit on a lane change by a SUV, with a teenage driver who apologised and then claimed that he did not hear the horn! Stereo must have been cranked up.
1. Has anyone done this, and where are the OEM horns located?
2. Has anyone used the Moss Mini air horns in an S, and is the installation a good one?
Thanks

Yes, I installed the Moss Motors air horns on my MCS. The installation was fairly easy. They fit (snugly) into existing space under the hood, and don't require removal of the existing horns. They're quite a bit louder than stock and have a tone that IMHO fits the MINI image quite well.
