Window squeaks when raining

My 2008 MCS windows (mainly driver's side) squeak a lot when I roll them up/down and it's been raining. For ex: today in NJ it was raining in the morning and when I rolled down the window at the gas station, it made a loud squeaking noise as it went down. It was very embarrassing.

They're fine when it everything's dry. Anyone else have this issue?

Excellent suggestion and it works. The BMW dealer sells them for the convertible's seals but their bottle comes from München and may be more expensive.

I guess this would work if the noise is being caused by the window rubbing against the seal, but I don't think the noise is coming from there. Try opening the door so the glass doesn't touch the seal and the noise will probably continue.

Mine do the same.

I have tried rubber conditioners without success, although the rubber looks very good.

That's too bad, I was hoping that would do the trick. Did you try a clear silicone lubricant?

I actually had a window squeak that was caused by the conditioner I used on the seals where the bottom of the glass meets the top of the door. It went away on its own after a couple of days.

Nope. Mine still do it. It's so rare it doesn't really bother me.

My CLK did that all the time when it was wet out, Mercedes never was able to fix it. I think it has something to do with the glass being frameless and the top of the door having to hold the glass to tight so it doesn't flex.
