R53 Sunroof DOA, It just stopped working. Need Help
My MCS is acting up again. First I've been having intermitent problems with my gas gauge, and now I went to close my sunroof and without warning it just stopped working. What should I do, any advice?

To close it (if still opened), remove your upper sunroof control panel by sliding it backwards (towards you, when seated in the car). You should be able to see an allen-head bolt there...twisting it will manually close the sunroof. Hard to describe any better than that without the Bentley Manual in hand right now.
The tool to turn the end of the motor is in the tool kit in the boot left side panel. If you remove the sun roof switch panel you will see the motor it has a allen hole in the shaft of the motor.

Interesting... on my '03 MCS, you have to remove the clock in order to gain access to the manual control on the sunroof motor... I thought they moved the clock down to the speedometer in '04? Perhaps I'm just thinking about something else.
I couldn't find the allen screw, how do I get to it? Its getting pretty chilly here driving with the sunroof half way open...lol
I had a similar problem with my sunroof dying on me recently, I did a little research online and fixed my sunroof myself, after I found this blog that featured a very well written and detailed step by step intructional on doing the repair.
