problems after new clutch
Hello,
Yesterday I have changed my clutch with new OEM clutch. I have got two problems which is that; the pressure reduced from 14.5 to 8 psi and the car get difficult to do more than 4500 RPM it takes more than normal to do 6800 RPM
.
What can be the problem? Help me NAM members.
Thanks from now.

I remember I took my 06' MCS in for service because there was a rattling coming from the Clutch disc. When I took it in, my clutch felt nice and crisp and strong. They fixed the noise which was coming from the flywheel and told me that I needed a new clutch; I refused the clutch because A) I wasn't going to fork over for a new clutch and B) I KNOW that I didn't need it.
When I got it back, my clutch felt VERY soft, it just felt mushy like it was going bad. The dealership said there was no adjustment on the pedal and that I needed to get a new clutch; I got pissed and told them that they better get back in there and make sure everything is fine; so they did. They gave it back to me the next day telling me that they didn't find anything and that everything was perfectly normal, but when I got it back my clutch felt good-as-new just as it was before I took it in for the noise. I'm at 66K right now with the OEM clutch; I drove this car home with 9 Miles on the Odometer and it's never been replaced.
Either way, just cause a dealer did it for you, doesn't mean it's done right.
