So this morning I was heading out, and my passenger wiper blade stopped working mid stroke. I popped the hood and found the problem, one of the wires for my driving lamps had got wrapped around the linkage and separated the two, so the left arm is no longer connected to the motor/linkage.

Is this an easy repair? I don't see how the two connected, but I didn't spend too much time looking at it since it was raining. The motor works fine, as does the driver's wiper blade.

I'd take a picture, but it's raining too hard right now.

Am I going to have to replace the whole unit?

 

Can you reconnect the parts that came apart?
