I have still not been able to resolve my drive belt squeeking problem.

After replacing the idler the sound is still there. I have also changed out a couple belts to see if it was that. The sound goes away when I spray the belt with belt dressing leading me to think I have a pulley off center. bad pulley bearing would not go quiet by simply spraying the belt.

I think perhaps that my 15% pulley could be out of alighnment. I have the GMW pulley and you have to measure the backspacing when installing and I think there measurment may be wrong.

Can you kind folks that have a moment please please take an image of your supercharger pulley from the top so I can see the back spacing?

I urently need to resolve this issue fast as I have rented the tensioner tool and have limited time to get it back.

Thank you all so much in advance!

About a week after I replaced my belt, it started to squeal. Thought it was my installment causing the noise. While watching the belt turn on the pulley,I noticed a dab of green. Yep, you guessed it. My radiator was leaking antifreeze on the belt causing the squeal. Needed a new radiator but that fixed my squeal. Good luck with yours---
