on feb 14 i drove to downtown and i did park my car, and when i tried to start the car again to park it properly it, it wont start at all, not even a crank i hear, when i turn my key dash baord lights come up and still i wont start. prev when i brought the car in the BMW they said its somthing to do with the alternator for the noise i'm having, ( a bearing went into the water pump) which they fix it and they said my alternator is still making that noise (clicking).

now my car wont start, thinking its a alternator, so i brought it back to BMW and thy said this time its my starter, this time so i have them replace my starter, and now BMW saying that car still wont start and they said i have to changed my alternator. they said if they take out the belt it starts.

i knw dealer can screww me big time, i just want to know if this is true.

is it true that alternator can frie your starter?

also do you think that my alternator is the fault to begin with and i fact that my starter was okay and i dont have to changed it , and BMW screw me by telling its the starter?

need advice.... badly
