This is very strange. Somewhere in my easy 40 mile freeway commute, the plastic center wheel cover came off one of my front S-Winder wheels. The car is a '09 R56 and I keep the tire pressure at about 32psi. I didn't hit any unusual bumps and the other covers are still in place and tight. I've never had any of the covers off in the 7200 miles that I've put on the car. Could a plastic retaining tang just broken causing the cover to just come adrift? Anyone else had this issue? I can't believe that the dealer will replace it unless they've seen this before.

I had S-winders on my 07 for the first 1000 miles or so. The same thing happened to me. No reason to think it would fall off.

I was supposed to have bridge spokes with my order, but the dealer messed up so I was scheduled to swap the Swinders for bridge spokes any way. The dealer didn't seem to care about the cover at all.
