Weird issue here:

I took the MINI on a bit of a road trip this weekend after putting on new rubber. I went from 205/45/17 to 215/45/17. I like the bigger foot print, and the price was better etc etc we can discuss the plus sizing of tires later.

I was driving from the bay area to Eugene OR. and there are some mountains in between. Everything was going fine, until we were on a long uphill and the tire light popped on, I immediately pulled over, and checked pressure, everything was fine. so I reset the light and continued on, this happened one more time, same results.

Spent two days in OR, no light, then drove home. same thing, on long uphills my tire monitor would chime in to say hi. at this point, I knew it was not real, and just reset it while driving. Got home, all my pressure is good, so I'm at a loss.

I seem to be experience a similar problem. I notice when the car warms up or if I'm doing a lot of stop and go, shopping, etc, I find the light will at some point come on.

My tire pressure is fine, when I get home I stop the car, turn it on and the light shows up. I stop it and wait a few minutes and turn it on and it dissappears.

Once it would not dissappear until I lock the car, unlock it and turn the ignition again. Very strange. I can't figure it out and I don't want to spend money at a dealer since I'm just out of warranty just for them to tell me nothing is wrong.

The dealer said if the sensors are faulty then you would see the ABS, ASC and Tire Pressure light on all at the same time.
