Brake warning light but..

Sunday my yellow check engine light came on. Today my Brake warning light came on. I looked at my pads and they look fine plus I had new brake pads and rotors put on the front less than yr ago.

Any ideas?

did you check the rear pads? There's a sensor on the inside right rear pad too and if you didn't change the rears with fronts that may be the issue.

Which brake light??? The red BRAKE one or the pad light?

If it was the red one, there may be a leak in the hydraulic system...

The yellow pad sensor. I was looking at the brake pads and they seem okay. I think the sensor broke or popped off. Does this happen to anyone else?
