Squeaky door

There are a variety of lubricants available for automotive, home, marine and shop usage, but none quite as good or versatile as white lithium grease. When it creaks, sticks, jams or rubs chances are white lithium grease can solve the problem. It's easy to use, safe on any kind of metal and long lasting; it doesn't splatter, melt, run, wash off or freeze.

The service manual says to use 30 weight oil.
What I want to know is where to oil it? I've put oil on the hinges, and it still squeaks. Maybe it can't get in there? Is there a prefered way to oil them?
Then I though the squeak was from the center part that stops the door from swinging open too far. Put oil all over it including where the part is inside the door. The squeak went away for a week and now is back. Where exactly is that coming from? Any tips sure would be appreciated.
